Who we are

Quonai B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42094471, is responsible for this website. Questions about your data go to info@quonai.com.

What we do not do

This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers. Fonts and images come from our own server, so your browser connects to nobody else.

When you visit the website

For every request our servers note the IP address, the time, the page asked for and the browser you use. We use this to find faults and misuse. We keep it for 14 days.

When you use the live demo

Your question goes to the Quonai engine, our own software, which looks for the answer in laws, rules and standards. The language models run on our own servers in Europe; your question does not go to an outside AI service. The engine gets your question, not your IP address or your browser. When you ask a follow-up question, the engine also gets the last ten questions and answers of the same conversation. For that, this website remembers a conversation until 30 minutes after your last question has been dealt with, in the server’s memory only.

This website keeps your question for up to 90 days in a log, together with your IP address, your browser, the time, the language of the page and the engine’s answer. This shows us which questions visitors ask, and lets us recognise and stop misuse of the demo, for example by blocking an address. A blocked address is kept for as long as the block lasts, and for at most 30 days after that.

The engine keeps the questions it receives to improve its answers and to find faults. We keep them for as long as we need them for that; we have not set a fixed period for it yet.

The live demo is a demonstration. Please do not type personal or confidential information into it.

When you contact us

What you fill in on the contact form, we send as an email to info@quonai.com, our mailbox in Microsoft 365. You receive a confirmation at the email address you give. The website itself does not keep your message. We keep the email for as long as we need to handle your question.

Where your data is

All your data stays within the European Union, including a message sent through the contact form. After deletion a copy can remain in our backups for at most five weeks.

Why we may do this

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest: a website and a demo that work safely and that we can see being used, and an answer to your question when you contact us.

Your rights

You can ask us which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its use. Email info@quonai.com; we answer within a month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
